Government Shutdown Means Some Moms Are Short on Formula

The government shutdown is no doubt affecting thousands of families — 800,000 workers are on furloughs — but some moms who rely on government assistance for baby formula are feeling the short shrift, after the federal Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children was suspended.
